56.41.وَأَصْحَابُ الشِّمَالِ مَا أَصْحَابُ الشِّمَالِ

56.41. Pour ce qui est des hommes de la sénestre, cette malheureuse catégorie,

56.41 . And those on the left hand : What of those on the left hand?

56.41. Waas-habu alshshimali ma as-habu alshshimali

56.42.فِي سَمُومٍ وَحَمِيمٍ

56.42. ils seront exposés à un vent brûlant et au milieu d'une eau bouillante,

56.42 . In scorching wind and scalding water

56.43.وَظِلٍّ مِّن يَحْمُومٍ

56.44.لَّا بَارِدٍ وَلَا كَرِيمٍ

56.44. dépourvue de fraîcheur et de légèreté,

56.45.إِنَّهُمْ كَانُوا قَبْلَ ذَلِكَ مُتْرَفِينَ
