56.46.وَكَانُوا يُصِرُّونَ عَلَى الْحِنثِ الْعَظِيمِ

56.46. s'acharnaient à commettre les plus graves péchés

56.46 . And used to persist in the awful sin .

56.46. Wakanoo yusirroona AAala alhinthi alAAatheemi

56.47.وَكَانُوا يَقُولُونَ أَئِذَا مِتْنَا وَكُنَّا تُرَاباً وَعِظَاماً أَئِنَّا لَمَبْعُوثُونَ

56.47. et disaient : «Quoi ! Une fois morts, réduits en poussière et en ossements pourris, serions-nous ramenés à la vie,

56.47 . And they used to say : When we are dead and have come dust and bones , shall we then , forsooth , be raised again ,

56.47. Wakanoo yaqooloona a-itha mitna wakunna turaban waAAithaman a-inna lamabAAoothoona

56.48.أَوَ آبَاؤُنَا الْأَوَّلُونَ

56.48. nous et nos ancêtres premiers?»

56.48 . And also our forefathers?

56.48. Awa abaona al-awwaloona

56.49.قُلْ إِنَّ الْأَوَّلِينَ وَالْآخِرِينَ

56.49. Dis-leur : «En vérité, tous les hommes des premiers jusqu'aux derniers

56.49 . Say ( unto them , O Muhammad ) : Lo! those of old and those of later time

56.49. Qul inna al-awwaleena waal-akhireena

56.50.لَمَجْمُوعُونَ إِلَى مِيقَاتِ يَوْمٍ مَّعْلُومٍ

56.50. seront rassemblés au rendez-vous fixé.

56.50 . Will all be brought together to the tryst of an appointed day .
