43.51.وَنَادَى فِرْعَوْنُ فِي قَوْمِهِ قَالَ يَا قَوْمِ أَلَيْسَ لِي مُلْكُ مِصْرَ وَهَذِهِ الْأَنْهَارُ تَجْرِي مِن تَحْتِي أَفَلَا تُبْصِرُونَ
43.51. et Pharaon s'adressa à son peuple en ces termes : «Ô mon peuple ! Ne suis-je pas le maître absolu du royaume d'Égypte avec tous ces canaux d'eau qui coulent à mes pieds? Ne le voyez-vous pas?
43.51 . And Pharaoh caused a proclamation to be made among his people saying : O my people! Is not mine the sovereignty of Egypt and these rivers flowing under me? Can ye not then discern?
43.51. Wanada firAAawnu fee qawmihi qala ya qawmi alaysa lee mulku misra wahathihi al-anharu tajree min tahtee afala tubsiroona
43.52.أَمْ أَنَا خَيْرٌ مِّنْ هَذَا الَّذِي هُوَ مَهِينٌ وَلَا يَكَادُ يُبِينُ
43.52. Ne suis-je donc pas supérieur à ce vil individu qui sait à peine s'exprimer?
43.52 . I am surely better than this fellow , who is despicable , and can hardly make ( his meaning ) plain!
43.52. Am ana khayrun min hatha allathee huwa maheenun wala yakadu yubeenu
43.53.فَلَوْلَا أُلْقِيَ عَلَيْهِ أَسْوِرَةٌ مِّن ذَهَبٍ أَوْ جَاء مَعَهُ الْمَلَائِكَةُ مُقْتَرِنِينَ
43.53. Si au moins il avait reçu d'en haut des bracelets d'or pour se parer, ou s'était présenté avec une escorte d'anges pour l'assister !»
43.53 . Why , then , have armlets of gold not been set upon him , or angels sent along with him?
43.53. Falawla olqiya AAalayhi aswiratun min thahabin aw jaa maAAahu almala-ikatu muqtarineena
43.54.فَاسْتَخَفَّ قَوْمَهُ فَأَطَاعُوهُ إِنَّهُمْ كَانُوا قَوْماً فَاسِقِينَ
43.54. Pharaon cherchait à égarer son peuple. Et celui-ci lui a obéi, car c'était un peuple pervers.
43.54 . Thus he persuaded his people to make light ( of Moses ) , and they obeyed him . Lo! they were a wanton folk .
43.54. Faistakhaffa qawmahu faataAAoohu innahum kanoo qawman fasiqeena
43.55.فَلَمَّا آسَفُونَا انتَقَمْنَا مِنْهُمْ فَأَغْرَقْنَاهُمْ أَجْمَعِينَ
43.55. Ayant ainsi provoqué Notre colère, Nous sévîmes contre eux et les engloutîmes tous sous les flots,
43.55 . So , when they angered Us , We punished them and drowned them every one .
43.55. Falamma asafoona intaqamna minhum faaghraqnahum ajmaAAeena
