3.151.سَنُلْقِي فِي قُلُوبِ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ الرُّعْبَ بِمَا أَشْرَكُواْ بِاللّهِ مَا لَمْ يُنَزِّلْ بِهِ سُلْطَاناً وَمَأْوَاهُمُ النَّارُ وَبِئْسَ مَثْوَى الظَّالِمِينَ

3.151. Nous jetterons bientôt l'épouvante dans le cœur des idolâtres, pour avoir associé à Dieu des divinités qui n'ont été nanties d'aucun pouvoir de Sa part. Leur demeure sera l'Enfer, cet affreux refuge des injustes.

3.151 . We shall cast terror into the hearts of those who disbelieve because they ascribe unto Allah partners , for which no warrant hath been revealed . Their habitation is the Fire , and hapless the abode of the wrong doers .

3.151. Sanulqee fee quloobi allatheena kafaroo alrruAAba bima ashrakoo biAllahi ma lam yunazzil bihi sultanan wama/wahumu alnnaru wabi/sa mathwa alththalimeena

3.152.وَلَقَدْ صَدَقَكُمُ اللّهُ وَعْدَهُ إِذْ تَحُسُّونَهُم بِإِذْنِهِ حَتَّى إِذَا فَشِلْتُمْ وَتَنَازَعْتُمْ فِي الأَمْرِ وَعَصَيْتُم مِّن بَعْدِ مَا أَرَاكُم مَّا تُحِبُّونَ مِنكُم مَّن يُرِيدُ الدُّنْيَا وَمِنكُم مَّن يُرِيدُ الآخِرَةَ ثُمَّ صَرَفَكُمْ عَنْهُمْ لِيَبْتَلِيَكُمْ وَلَقَدْ عَفَا عَنكُمْ وَاللّهُ ذُو فَضْلٍ عَلَى الْمُؤْمِنِينَ

3.152. Dieu a tenu Sa promesse envers vous en vous permettant de tailler vos ennemis en pièces, jusqu'au moment où vous avez fléchi pour contester l'ordre qui vous était donné et refuser de l'exécuter, alors que Dieu vous faisait déjà entrevoir la victoire qui vous tenait à cœur. Certains d'entre vous désiraient les biens de ce monde, pendant que d'autres aspiraient à la vie future. Aussi Dieu, pour vous mettre à l'épreuve, vous fit-Il reculer devant vos ennemis. Mais Il vous a ensuite pardonné, car Il est Plein de sollicitude pour les fidèles.

3.152 . Allah verily made good His promise unto you when ye routed them by His leave , until ( the moment ) when your courage failed you , and ye disagreed about the order and ye disobeyed , after He had shown you that for which ye long . Some of you desired the world , and some of you desired the Hereafter . Therefore He made you flee from them , that He might try you . Yet now He hath forgiven you . Allah is a Lord of Kindness to believers .

3.152. Walaqad sadaqakumu Allahu waAAdahu ith tahussoonahum bi-ithnihi hatta itha fashiltum watanazaAAtum fee al-amri waAAasaytum min baAAdi ma arakum ma tuhibboona minkum man yureedu alddunya waminkum man yureedu al-akhirata thumma sarafakum AAanhum liyabtaliyakum walaqad AAafa AAankum waAllahu thoo fadlin AAala almu/mineena

3.153.إِذْ تُصْعِدُونَ وَلاَ تَلْوُونَ عَلَى أحَدٍ وَالرَّسُولُ يَدْعُوكُمْ فِي أُخْرَاكُمْ فَأَثَابَكُمْ غُمَّاً بِغَمٍّ لِّكَيْلاَ تَحْزَنُواْ عَلَى مَا فَاتَكُمْ وَلاَ مَا أَصَابَكُمْ وَاللّهُ خَبِيرٌ بِمَا تَعْمَلُونَ

3.153. Et au moment où vous battiez en retraite sans vous soucier les uns des autres, et pendant que le Prophète, sur vos arrières, tentait de vous ramener au combat, Dieu vous infligea déception sur déception, afin que vous n'ayez pas à regretter le succès qui vous échappait ni à vous lamenter sur le malheur qui vous frappait, car Dieu est bien Informé de ce que vous faites.

3.153 . When ye climbed ( the hill ) and paid no heed to anyone , while the messenger , in your rear , was calling you ( to fight ) . Therefor He rewarded you grief for ( his ) grief , that ( He might teach ) you not to sorrow either for that which ye missed or for that which befell you . Allah is Informed of what ye do .

3.153. Ith tusAAidoona wala talwoona AAala ahadin waalrrasoolu yadAAookum fee okhrakum faathabakum ghamman bighammin likay la tahzanoo AAala ma fatakum wala ma asabakum waAllahu khabeerun bima taAAmaloona

3.154.ثُمَّ أَنزَلَ عَلَيْكُم مِّن بَعْدِ الْغَمِّ أَمَنَةً نُّعَاساً يَغْشَى طَآئِفَةً مِّنكُمْ وَطَآئِفَةٌ قَدْ أَهَمَّتْهُمْ أَنفُسُهُمْ يَظُنُّونَ بِاللّهِ غَيْرَ الْحَقِّ ظَنَّ الْجَاهِلِيَّةِ يَقُولُونَ هَل لَّنَا مِنَ الأَمْرِ مِن شَيْءٍ قُلْ إِنَّ الأَمْرَ كُلَّهُ لِلَّهِ يُخْفُونَ فِي أَنفُسِهِم مَّا لاَ يُبْدُونَ لَكَ يَقُولُونَ لَوْ كَانَ لَنَا مِنَ الأَمْرِ شَيْءٌ مَّا قُتِلْنَا هَاهُنَا قُل لَّوْ كُنتُمْ فِي بُيُوتِكُمْ لَبَرَزَ الَّذِينَ كُتِبَ عَلَيْهِمُ الْقَتْلُ إِلَى مَضَاجِعِهِمْ وَلِيَبْتَلِيَ اللّهُ مَا فِي صُدُورِكُمْ وَلِيُمَحَّصَ مَا فِي قُلُوبِكُمْ وَاللّهُ عَلِيمٌ بِذَاتِ الصُّدُورِ

3.154. Cette angoisse passée, Dieu fit descendre sur vous Sa sécurité , et une espèce d'assoupissement s'empara d'une partie d'entre vous, pendant que d'autres, préoccupés uniquement d'eux-mêmes, proféraient sur Dieu, à la manière des idolâtres de l'époque de l'ignorance, des opinions non conformes à la vérité. «Quelle part de décision avions-nous dans cette affaire?», disaient-ils. Dis-leur : «Le pouvoir de décision n'appartient qu'à Dieu.» En réalité, ils cachaient bien des pensées, qu'ils n'osaient t'exprimer. Ils se disaient : «Si nous avions pu donner notre avis, nous ne serions pas venus ici nous faire massacrer !» Dis-leur : «Même si vous étiez restés chez vous, ceux qui devaient mourir seraient sortis pour venir tomber là où leur destin les appelait. Cela est arrivé, afin que Dieu mette à l'épreuve votre patience et votre courage dans l'adversité, car Dieu connaît bien ce que recèlent les cœurs.»

3.154 . Then , after grief , He sent clown security for you . As slumber did it overcome a party of you , while ( the other ) party , who were anxious on their own account , thought wrongly of Allah , the thought of ignorance . They said : Have we any part in the cause? Say ( O Muhammad ) : The cause belongeth wholly to Allah . They hide within themselves ( a thought ) which they reveal not unto thee , saying : Had we had any part in the cause we should not have been slain here . Say : Even though ye had been in your houses , those appointed to be slain would have gone forth to the places where they were to lie . ( All this hath been ) in order that Allah might try what is in your breasts and prove what is in your hearts . Allah is Aware of what is hidden in the breasts ( of men ) .

3.154. Thumma anzala AAalaykum min baAAdi alghammi amanatan nuAAasan yaghsha ta-ifatan minkum wata-ifatun qad ahammat-hum anfusuhum yathunnoona biAllahi ghayra alhaqqi thanna aljahiliyyati yaqooloona hal lana mina al-amri min shay-in qul inna al-amra kullahu lillahi yukhfoona fee anfusihim ma la yubdoona laka yaqooloona law kana lana mina al-amri shay-on ma qutilna hahuna qul law kuntum fee buyootikum labaraza allatheena kutiba AAalayhimu alqatlu ila madajiAAihim waliyabtaliya Allahu ma fee sudoorikum waliyumahhisa ma fee quloobikum waAllahu AAaleemun bithati alssudoori

3.155.إِنَّ الَّذِينَ تَوَلَّوْاْ مِنكُمْ يَوْمَ الْتَقَى الْجَمْعَانِ إِنَّمَا اسْتَزَلَّهُمُ الشَّيْطَانُ بِبَعْضِ مَا كَسَبُواْ وَلَقَدْ عَفَا اللّهُ عَنْهُمْ إِنَّ اللّهَ غَفُورٌ حَلِيمٌ

3.155. Et si certains parmi vous ont battu en retraite le jour de la rencontre des deux armées, c'est uniquement parce qu'ils avaient cédé aux instigations de Satan, en raison de quelques péchés qu'ils avaient commis. Néanmoins, Dieu leur a pardonné, car Il est Plein de miséricorde et de mansuétude.

3.155 . Lo! those of you who turned back on the day when the two hosts met , Satan alone it was who caused them to backslide , because of some of that which they have earned . Now Allah hath forgiven them . Lo! Allah is Forgiving . Clement .

3.155. Inna allatheena tawallaw minkum yawma iltaqa aljamAAani innama istazallahumu alshshaytanu bibaAAdi ma kasaboo walaqad AAafa Allahu AAanhum inna Allaha ghafoorun haleemun
