2.71.قَالَ إِنَّهُ يَقُولُ إِنَّهَا بَقَرَةٌ لاَّ ذَلُولٌ تُثِيرُ الأَرْضَ وَلاَ تَسْقِي الْحَرْثَ مُسَلَّمَةٌ لاَّ شِيَةَ فِيهَا قَالُواْ الآنَ جِئْتَ بِالْحَقِّ فَذَبَحُوهَا وَمَا كَادُواْ يَفْعَلُونَ

2.71. Moïse reprit : «Dieu vous dit qu'il s'agit d'une vache non assujettie aux labours ou à l'arrosage des champs, et qui n'a aucune infirmité ni aucune tache sur la robe.» – «Enfin, dirent-ils, tu nous apportes maintenant la vérité.» Et ils immolèrent alors la vache. Et peu s'en est fallu qu'ils ne l'eussent pas fait.

2.71 . ( Moses ) answered : Lo! He saith : Verily she is a cow unyoked ; she plougheth not the soil nor watereth the tilth ; whole and without mark . They said : Now thou bringest the truth . So they sacrificed her , though almost they did not .

2.71. Qala innahu yaqoolu innaha baqaratun la thaloolun tutheeru al-arda wala tasqee alhartha musallamatun la shiyata feeha qaloo al-ana ji/ta bialhaqqi fathabahooha wama kadoo yafAAaloona

2.72.وَإِذْ قَتَلْتُمْ نَفْساً فَادَّارَأْتُمْ فِيهَا وَاللّهُ مُخْرِجٌ مَّا كُنتُمْ تَكْتُمُونَ

2.72. Rappelez-vous le meurtre que vous aviez commis et dont chacun de vous cherchait à se disculper. Dieu, cependant, fit éclater la vérité que vous cherchiez à dissimuler.

2.72 . And ( remember ) when ye slew a man and disagreed concerning it and Allah brought forth that which ye were hiding .

2.72. Wa-ith qataltum nafsan faiddara/tum feeha waAllahu mukhrijun ma kuntum taktumoona

2.73.فَقُلْنَا اضْرِبُوهُ بِبَعْضِهَا كَذَلِكَ يُحْيِي اللّهُ الْمَوْتَى وَيُرِيكُمْ آيَاتِهِ لَعَلَّكُمْ تَعْقِلُونَ

2.73. Nous vous invitâmes à frapper le cadavre de la victime avec un membre de la vache immolée. C'est ainsi que Dieu rend la vie aux morts et c'est ainsi qu'Il vous montre Ses signes. Peut-être finirez-vous par comprendre.

2.73 . And We said : Smite him with some of it . Thus Allah bringeth the dead to life and showeth you His portents so that ye may understand .

2.73. Faqulna idriboohu bibaAAdiha kathalika yuhyee Allahu almawta wayureekum ayatihi laAAallakum taAAqiloona

2.74.ثُمَّ قَسَتْ قُلُوبُكُم مِّن بَعْدِ ذَلِكَ فَهِيَ كَالْحِجَارَةِ أَوْ أَشَدُّ قَسْوَةً وَإِنَّ مِنَ الْحِجَارَةِ لَمَا يَتَفَجَّرُ مِنْهُ الأَنْهَارُ وَإِنَّ مِنْهَا لَمَا يَشَّقَّقُ فَيَخْرُجُ مِنْهُ الْمَاء وَإِنَّ مِنْهَا لَمَا يَهْبِطُ مِنْ خَشْيَةِ اللّهِ وَمَا اللّهُ بِغَافِلٍ عَمَّا تَعْمَلُونَ

2.74. Mais, depuis lors, vos cœurs n'ont fait que s'endurcir. Ils ont même acquis la dureté de la roche, et plus encore, car, parmi les roches, il en est qui donnent naissance à des ruisseaux, ou qui se fendent pour livrer passage à des rivières, tandis que d'autres s'affaissent par crainte du Seigneur. Dieu n'est pas inattentif à vos agissements.

2.74 . Then , even after that , your hearts were hardened and became as rocks , or worse than rocks , for hardness . For indeed there are rocks from out which rivers gush , and indeed there are rocks which split asunder so that water Soweth from them . And indeed there are rocks which fall down for the fear of Allah . Allah is not unaware of what ye do .

2.74. Thumma qasat quloobukum min baAAdi thalika fahiya kaalhijarati aw ashaddu qaswatan wa-inna mina alhijarati lama yatafajjaru minhu al-anharu wa-inna minha lama yashshaqqaqu fayakhruju minhu almao wa-inna minha lama yahbitu min khashyati Allahi wama Allahu bighafilin AAamma taAAmaloona

2.75.أَفَتَطْمَعُونَ أَن يُؤْمِنُواْ لَكُمْ وَقَدْ كَانَ فَرِيقٌ مِّنْهُمْ يَسْمَعُونَ كَلاَمَ اللّهِ ثُمَّ يُحَرِّفُونَهُ مِن بَعْدِ مَا عَقَلُوهُ وَهُمْ يَعْلَمُونَ

2.75. Gardez-vous encore l'espoir de les voir un jour partager votre foi, alors que certains d'entre eux ont déjà altéré sciemment la Parole de Dieu, après en avoir bien saisi le sens?

2.75 . Have ye any hope that they will be true to you when a party of them used to listen to the Word of Allah , then used to change it , after they had understood it knowingly?
