85.16.فَعَّالٌ لِّمَا يُرِيدُ
85.16. Il est Celui qui réalise tout ce qu'Il veut.
85.16 . Doer of what He will .

85.17.هَلْ أَتَاكَ حَدِيثُ الْجُنُودِ
85.17. N'as-tu jamais été au courant du récit des armées
85.17 . Hath there come unto thee the story of the hosts

85.18.فِرْعَوْنَ وَثَمُودَ
85.18. de Pharaon et de Thamûd?

85.19.بَلِ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا فِي تَكْذِيبٍ
85.19. Mais les impies s'entêtent à tout nier,

85.20.وَاللَّهُ مِن وَرَائِهِم مُّحِيطٌ
85.20. alors que Dieu, à leur insu, les cerne de toutes parts.
