40.2.تَنزِيلُ الْكِتَابِ مِنَ اللَّهِ الْعَزِيزِ الْعَلِيمِ

40.2. La révélation du Coran est l'œuvre de Dieu, le Tout-Puissant, l'Omniscient,

40.2 . The revelation of the Scripture is from Allah , the Mighty , the Knower ,

40.2. Tanzeelu alkitabi mina Allahi alAAazeezi alAAaleemi

40.3.غَافِرِ الذَّنبِ وَقَابِلِ التَّوْبِ شَدِيدِ الْعِقَابِ ذِي الطَّوْلِ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا هُوَ إِلَيْهِ الْمَصِيرُ

40.3. qui pardonne les péchés, agrée le repentir, réprime avec sévérité et dont la générosité n'a point de limite. Il n'y a d'autre divinité que Lui et c'est vers Lui que se fera tout retour.

40.3 . The Forgiver of sin , the Acceptor of repentance , the Stern in punishment , the Bountiful . There is no God save Him . Unto Him is the journeying .

40.3. Ghafiri alththanbi waqabili alttawbi shadeedi alAAiqabi thee alttawli la ilaha illa huwa ilayhi almaseeru

40.4.مَا يُجَادِلُ فِي آيَاتِ اللَّهِ إِلَّا الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا فَلَا يَغْرُرْكَ تَقَلُّبُهُمْ فِي الْبِلَادِ

40.4. Il n'y a donc que les négateurs qui soulèvent des disputes au sujet des versets de Dieu. Mais que leur agitation dans le pays ne t'abuse point,

40.4 . None argue concerning the revelations of Allah save those who disbelieve , so let not their turn of fortune in the land deceive thee ( O Muhammad ) .

40.4. Ma yujadilu fee ayati Allahi illa allatheena kafaroo fala yaghrurka taqallubuhum fee albiladi

40.5.كَذَّبَتْ قَبْلَهُمْ قَوْمُ نُوحٍ وَالْأَحْزَابُ مِن بَعْدِهِمْ وَهَمَّتْ كُلُّ أُمَّةٍ بِرَسُولِهِمْ لِيَأْخُذُوهُ وَجَادَلُوا بِالْبَاطِلِ لِيُدْحِضُوا بِهِ الْحَقَّ فَأَخَذْتُهُمْ فَكَيْفَ كَانَ عِقَابِ

40.5. car, avant eux, le peuple de Noé ainsi que d'autres factions venues après lui avaient crié au mensonge. Chacune de ces communautés avait conçu le dessein de supprimer son prophète et avait usé de faux arguments pour étouffer la Vérité , mais J'ai sévi contre eux, et combien a été sévère à leur égard Mon châtiment !

40.5 . The folk of Noah and the factions after them denied ( their messengers ) before these , and every nation purposed to seize their messenger and argued falsely , ( thinking ) thereby to refute the Truth . Then I seized them , and how ( awful ) was My punishment .

40.5. Kaththabat qablahum qawmu noohin waal-ahzabu min baAAdihim wahammat kullu ommatin birasoolihim liya/khuthoohu wajadaloo bialbatili liyudhidoo bihi alhaqqa faakhathtuhum fakayfa kana AAiqabi
