40.76.ادْخُلُوا أَبْوَابَ جَهَنَّمَ خَالِدِينَ فِيهَا فَبِئْسَ مَثْوَى الْمُتَكَبِّرِينَ

40.76. Franchissez donc pour l'éternité le seuil de la Géhenne, cette affreuse demeure réservée aux superbes !»

40.76 . Enter ye the gates of hell , to dwell therein . Evil is the habitation of the scornful .

40.76. Odkhuloo abwaba jahannama khalideena feeha fabi/sa mathwa almutakabbireena

40.77.فَاصْبِرْ إِنَّ وَعْدَ اللَّهِ حَقٌّ فَإِمَّا نُرِيَنَّكَ بَعْضَ الَّذِي نَعِدُهُمْ أَوْ نَتَوَفَّيَنَّكَ فَإِلَيْنَا يُرْجَعُونَ

40.77. Arme-toi de patience ! La promesse du Seigneur s'accomplira sans conteste. Que tu assistes à une partie des tourments que Nous leur réservons ou que tu sois rappelé auparavant à Nous, tous les hommes Nous feront inéluctablement retour.

40.77 . Then have patience ( O Muhammad ) . Lo! the promise of Allah is true . And whether we let thee see a part of that which We promise them , or ( whether ) We cause thee to die , still unto us they will be brought back .

40.77. Faisbir inna waAAda Allahi haqqun fa-imma nuriyannaka baAAda allathee naAAiduhum aw natawaffayannaka fa-ilayna yurjaAAoona

40.78.وَلَقَدْ أَرْسَلْنَا رُسُلاً مِّن قَبْلِكَ مِنْهُم مَّن قَصَصْنَا عَلَيْكَ وَمِنْهُم مَّن لَّمْ نَقْصُصْ عَلَيْكَ وَمَا كَانَ لِرَسُولٍ أَنْ يَأْتِيَ بِآيَةٍ إِلَّا بِإِذْنِ اللَّهِ فَإِذَا جَاء أَمْرُ اللَّهِ قُضِيَ بِالْحَقِّ وَخَسِرَ هُنَالِكَ الْمُبْطِلُونَ

40.78. Nous avons envoyé bien des prophètes avant toi. Nous t'avons raconté l'histoire de certains d'entre eux et Nous Nous sommes tu sur celle des autres. Il n'appartient à aucun prophète de produire un signe sans la permission de Dieu. Et lorsque l'ordre de Dieu est donné, le verdict sera rendu en toute équité, et ce sont les négateurs qui seront les seuls perdants.

40.78 . Verily We sent messengers before thee , among them those of whom We have told thee , and some of whom We have not told thee ; and it was not given to any messenger that he should bring a portent cave by Allah ' s leave , but when Allah ' s commandment cometh ( the cause ) is judged aright , and the followers of vanity will then be lost .

40.78. Walaqad arsalna rusulan min qablika minhum man qasasna AAalayka waminhum man lam naqsus AAalayka wama kana lirasoolin an ya/tiya bi-ayatin illa bi-ithni Allahi fa-itha jaa amru Allahi qudiya bialhaqqi wakhasira hunalika almubtiloona

40.79.اللَّهُ الَّذِي جَعَلَ لَكُمُ الْأَنْعَامَ لِتَرْكَبُوا مِنْهَا وَمِنْهَا تَأْكُلُونَ

40.79. C'est Dieu qui a créé pour vous les bestiaux , des uns vous faites vos montures et des autres vous tirez votre nourriture,

40.79 . Allah it is Who hath appointed for you cattle , that ye may ride on some of them , and eat of some

40.79. Allahu allathee jaAAala lakumu al-anAAama litarkaboo minha waminha ta/kuloona

40.80.وَلَكُمْ فِيهَا مَنَافِعُ وَلِتَبْلُغُوا عَلَيْهَا حَاجَةً فِي صُدُورِكُمْ وَعَلَيْهَا وَعَلَى الْفُلْكِ تُحْمَلُونَ

40.80. sans compter d'autres avantages qu'ils vous procurent. C'est ainsi qu'ils vous aident à atteindre certains buts qui vous tiennent à cœur, et c'est sur eux et sur les vaisseaux que vous effectuez vos voyages.

40.80 . ( Many ) benefits ye have from them and that ye may satisfy by their means a need that is in your breasts , and may be borne upon them as upon the ship .

40.80. Walakum feeha manafiAAu walitablughoo AAalayha hajatan fee sudoorikum waAAalayha waAAala alfulki tuhmaloona
