4.151.أُوْلَـئِكَ هُمُ الْكَافِرُونَ حَقّاً وَأَعْتَدْنَا لِلْكَافِرِينَ عَذَاباً مُّهِيناً

4.151. ceux-là sont les véritables impies, et c'est à ces impies que Nous avons réservé un châtiment avilissant.

4.151 . Such are disbelievers in truth ; and for disbelievers We prepare a shameful doom .

4.151. Ola-ika humu alkafiroona haqqan waaAAtadna lilkafireena AAathaban muheenan

4.152.وَالَّذِينَ آمَنُواْ بِاللّهِ وَرُسُلِهِ وَلَمْ يُفَرِّقُواْ بَيْنَ أَحَدٍ مِّنْهُمْ أُوْلَـئِكَ سَوْفَ يُؤْتِيهِمْ أُجُورَهُمْ وَكَانَ اللّهُ غَفُوراً رَّحِيماً

4.152. Ceux qui, en revanche, croient en Dieu et en Ses prophètes sans faire aucune distinction entre ces derniers, Dieu leur accordera leur rétribution, car Il est Clément et Miséricordieux.

4.152 . But those who believe in Allah and His messengers and make no distinction between any of them , unto them Allah will give their wages ; and Allah was ever Forgiving , Merciful .

4.152. Waallatheena amanoo biAllahi warusulihi walam yufarriqoo bayna ahadin minhum ola-ika sawfa yu/teehim ojoorahum wakana Allahu ghafooran raheeman

4.153.يَسْأَلُكَ أَهْلُ الْكِتَابِ أَن تُنَزِّلَ عَلَيْهِمْ كِتَاباً مِّنَ السَّمَاءِ فَقَدْ سَأَلُواْ مُوسَى أَكْبَرَ مِن ذَلِكَ فَقَالُواْ أَرِنَا اللّهِ جَهْرَةً فَأَخَذَتْهُمُ الصَّاعِقَةُ بِظُلْمِهِمْ ثُمَّ اتَّخَذُواْ الْعِجْلَ مِن بَعْدِ مَا جَاءتْهُمُ الْبَيِّنَاتُ فَعَفَوْنَا عَن ذَلِكَ وَآتَيْنَا مُوسَى سُلْطَاناً مُّبِيناً

4.153. Les gens des Écritures insistent pour que tu fasses descendre à leur intention un Livre du Ciel ! N'avaient-ils pas demandé à Moïse bien plus encore quand ils lui avaient dit : «Fais-nous voir Dieu face à face !»? Aussi furent-ils frappés par la foudre en punition de tant d'insolence. Puis ils se mirent à adorer le Veau d'or , en dépit des preuves évidentes qu'ils avaient reçues. Nous leur pardonnâmes cependant leurs erreurs et Nous dotâmes Moïse d'une autorité certaine.

4.153 . The People of the Scripture ask of thee that thou shouldst cause an ( actual ) Book to descend upon them from heaven . They asked a greater thing of Moses aforetime , for they said : Show us Allah plainly . The storm of lightning seized them for their wickedness . Then ( even after that ) they chose the calf ( for worship ) after clear proofs ( of Allah ' s Sovereignty ) had come unto them . And We forgave them that! And We bestowed on Moses evident authority .

4.153. Yas-aluka ahlu alkitabi an tunazzila AAalayhim kitaban mina alssama-i faqad saaloo moosa akbara min thalika faqaloo arina Allaha jahratan faakhathat-humu alssaAAiqatu bithulmihim thumma ittakhathoo alAAijla min baAAdi ma jaat-humu albayyinatu faAAafawna AAan thalika waatayna moosa sultanan mubeenan

4.154.وَرَفَعْنَا فَوْقَهُمُ الطُّورَ بِمِيثَاقِهِمْ وَقُلْنَا لَهُمُ ادْخُلُواْ الْبَابَ سُجَّداً وَقُلْنَا لَهُمْ لاَ تَعْدُواْ فِي السَّبْتِ وَأَخَذْنَا مِنْهُم مِّيثَاقاً غَلِيظاً

4.154. Nous avons dressé au-dessus de leurs têtes le mont Sinaï, en échange de l'alliance qu'ils ont contractée et Nous leur avons dit : «Prosternez-vous en franchissant la porte !» Et Nous avons ajouté : «Ne transgressez pas le Sabbat !», en leur faisant prendre à ce sujet un engagement solennel.

4.154 . And We caused the Mount to tower above them at ( the taking of ) their covenant : and We bade them : Enter the gate , prostrate! and we bade them : Transgress not the Sabbath! and We took from them a firm covenant .

4.154. WarafaAAna fawqahumu alttoora bimeethaqihim waqulna lahumu odkhuloo albaba sujjadan waqulna lahum la taAAdoo fee alssabti waakhathna minhum meethaqan ghaleethan

4.155.فَبِمَا نَقْضِهِم مِّيثَاقَهُمْ وَكُفْرِهِم بَآيَاتِ اللّهِ وَقَتْلِهِمُ الأَنْبِيَاءَ بِغَيْرِ حَقًّ وَقَوْلِهِمْ قُلُوبُنَا غُلْفٌ بَلْ طَبَعَ اللّهُ عَلَيْهَا بِكُفْرِهِمْ فَلاَ يُؤْمِنُونَ إِلاَّ قَلِيلاً

4.155. Mais qu'est-il advenu de leur engagement? Ils n'ont pas hésité à le dénoncer, à nier les signes de Dieu, à assassiner injustement les prophètes et à déclarer que leurs cœurs étaient insensibles à toute croyance, alors qu'en réalité c'est Dieu qui avait scellé leurs cœurs, en raison de leur infidélité, au point que seul un petit nombre parmi eux peuvent être considérés comme de vrais croyants.

4.155 . Then because of their breaking of their covenant , and their disbelieving in the revelations of Allah , and their slaying of the Prophets wrongfully , and their saying : Our hearts are hardened Nay , but Allah hath set a seal upon them for their disbelief , so that they believe not save a few

4.155. Fabima naqdihim meethaqahum wakufrihim bi-ayati Allahi waqatlihimu al-anbiyaa bighayri haqqin waqawlihim quloobuna ghulfun bal tabaAAa Allahu AAalayha bikufrihim fala yu/minoona illa qaleelan
