31.11.هَذَا خَلْقُ اللَّهِ فَأَرُونِي مَاذَا خَلَقَ الَّذِينَ مِن دُونِهِ بَلِ الظَّالِمُونَ فِي ضَلَالٍ مُّبِينٍ

31.11. Telle est l'œuvre de Dieu ! Montrez-Moi à présent ce qu'ont créé les divinités que vous adorez en dehors de Lui. Les injustes sont vraiment dans un égarement manifeste !

31.11 . This is the Creation of Allah . Now show me that which those ( ye worship ) beside Him have created . Nay , but the wrong doers are in error manifest!

31.11. Hatha khalqu Allahi faaroonee matha khalaqa allatheena min doonihi bali alththalimoona fee dalalin mubeenin

31.12.وَلَقَدْ آتَيْنَا لُقْمَانَ الْحِكْمَةَ أَنِ اشْكُرْ لِلَّهِ وَمَن يَشْكُرْ فَإِنَّمَا يَشْكُرُ لِنَفْسِهِ وَمَن كَفَرَ فَإِنَّ اللَّهَ غَنِيٌّ حَمِيدٌ

31.12. Nous avons donné, en vérité, la sagesse à Luqmân, en lui disant : «Sois reconnaissant envers Dieu ! Car quiconque est reconnaissant l'est à son propre avantage , tandis que celui qui se montre ingrat, Dieu Se passera volontiers de sa gratitude, car Il est le Seul Digne de louange.

31.12 . And verily We gave Luqman wisdom , saying : Give thanks unto Allah ; and whosoever giveth thanks , he giveth thanks for ( the good of ) his soul . And whosoever refuseth Lo! Allah is Absolute , Owner of Praise .

31.12. Walaqad atayna luqmana alhikmata ani oshkur lillahi waman yashkur fa-innama yashkuru linafsihi waman kafara fa-inna Allaha ghaniyyun hameedun

31.13.وَإِذْ قَالَ لُقْمَانُ لِابْنِهِ وَهُوَ يَعِظُهُ يَا بُنَيَّ لَا تُشْرِكْ بِاللَّهِ إِنَّ الشِّرْكَ لَظُلْمٌ عَظِيمٌ

31.13. Luqmân exhorta un jour son fils, en lui disant : «Mon cher fils, n'attribue aucun associé à Dieu, car le polythéisme est un crime abominable !»

31.13 . And ( remember ) when Luqman said unto his son , when he was exhorting him : O my dear son! Ascribe no partners unto Allah . Lo! to ascribe partners ( unto Him ) is a tremendous wrong

31.13. Wa-ith qala luqmanu liibnihi wahuwa yaAAithuhu ya bunayya la tushrik biAllahi inna alshshirka lathulmun AAatheemun

31.14.وَوَصَّيْنَا الْإِنسَانَ بِوَالِدَيْهِ حَمَلَتْهُ أُمُّهُ وَهْناً عَلَى وَهْنٍ وَفِصَالُهُ فِي عَامَيْنِ أَنِ اشْكُرْ لِي وَلِوَالِدَيْكَ إِلَيَّ الْمَصِيرُ

31.14. Nous avons recommandé à l'homme d'être bienveillant à l'égard de ses parents, car sa mère a enduré de multiples souffrances en le portant dans son sein, en le mettant au monde et en l'allaitant deux années durant jusqu'au sevrage. Sois donc reconnaissant envers Moi et envers tes parents ! C'est vers Moi que se fera votre retour.

31.14 . And We have enjoined upon man concerning his parents . His mother beareth him in weakness upon weakness , and his weaning is in two years . Give thanks unto Me and unto thy parents . Unto Me is the journeying .

31.14. Wawassayna al-insana biwalidayhi hamalat-hu ommuhu wahnan AAala wahnin wafisaluhu fee AAamayni ani oshkur lee waliwalidayka ilayya almaseeru

31.15.وَإِن جَاهَدَاكَ عَلى أَن تُشْرِكَ بِي مَا لَيْسَ لَكَ بِهِ عِلْمٌ فَلَا تُطِعْهُمَا وَصَاحِبْهُمَا فِي الدُّنْيَا مَعْرُوفاً وَاتَّبِعْ سَبِيلَ مَنْ أَنَابَ إِلَيَّ ثُمَّ إِلَيَّ مَرْجِعُكُمْ فَأُنَبِّئُكُم بِمَا كُنتُمْ تَعْمَلُونَ

31.15. Mais s'ils exercent sur toi une contrainte pour t'amener à M'associer des divinités dont tu n'as aucune connaissance, alors ne leur obéis pas, tout en continuant à te comporter envers eux en ce bas monde de façon convenable. Suis en cela la voie de celui qui revient repentant vers Moi, car c'est vers Moi que se fera ensuite votre retour, et Je mettrai alors chacun de vous en face des œuvres qu'il aura accomplies.

31.15 . But if they strive with thee to make thee ascribe unto Me as partner that of which thou hast no knowledge , then obey them not . Consort with them in the world kindly , and follow the path of him who repenteth unto Me . Then unto Me will be your return , and I shall tell you what ye used to do .

31.15. Wa-in jahadaka AAala an tushrika bee ma laysa laka bihi AAilmun fala tutiAAhuma wasahibhuma fee alddunya maAAroofan waittabiAA sabeela man anaba ilayya thumma ilayya marjiAAukum faonabbi-okum bima kuntum taAAmaloona
