28.76.إِنَّ قَارُونَ كَانَ مِن قَوْمِ مُوسَى فَبَغَى عَلَيْهِمْ وَآتَيْنَاهُ مِنَ الْكُنُوزِ مَا إِنَّ مَفَاتِحَهُ لَتَنُوءُ بِالْعُصْبَةِ أُولِي الْقُوَّةِ إِذْ قَالَ لَهُ قَوْمُهُ لَا تَفْرَحْ إِنَّ اللَّهَ لَا يُحِبُّ الْفَرِحِينَ

28.76. En vérité, Coré appartenait au peuple de Moïse , mais sa violence envers ses congénères ne connut point de limite le jour où Nous lui donnâmes tant de trésors que les clefs en étaient trop lourdes à porter pour une bande d'hommes pourtant très forts. Son peuple lui disait : «Ne te réjouis pas trop ! Dieu n'aime pas les gens pleins de gloriole.

28.76 . Now Korah was of Moses folk , but he oppressed them and We gave him so much treasure that the stores thereof would verily have been a burden for a troop of mighty men . When his own folk said unto him : Exult not ; lo! Allah loveth not the exultant ;

28.76. Inna qaroona kana min qawmi moosa fabagha AAalayhim waataynahu mina alkunoozi ma inna mafatihahu latanoo-o bialAAusbati olee alquwwati ith qala lahu qawmuhu la tafrah inna Allaha la yuhibbu alfariheena

28.77.وَابْتَغِ فِيمَا آتَاكَ اللَّهُ الدَّارَ الْآخِرَةَ وَلَا تَنسَ نَصِيبَكَ مِنَ الدُّنْيَا وَأَحْسِن كَمَا أَحْسَنَ اللَّهُ إِلَيْكَ وَلَا تَبْغِ الْفَسَادَ فِي الْأَرْضِ إِنَّ اللَّهَ لَا يُحِبُّ الْمُفْسِدِينَ

28.77. Emploie plutôt les richesses que Dieu t'a accordées pour gagner l'ultime demeure, sans pour autant renoncer à ta part de bonheur dans ce monde. Sois bon envers les autres comme Dieu l'a été envers toi ! Ne favorise pas la corruption sur la Terre, car Dieu n'aime pas les corrupteurs.»

28.77 . But seek the abode of the Hereafter in that which Allah hath given thee and neglect not thy portion of the world , and be thou kind even as Allah hath been kind to thee , and seek not corruption in the earth ; lo! Allah loveth not corrupters ,

28.77. Waibtaghi feema ataka Allahu alddara al-akhirata wala tansa naseebaka mina alddunya waahsin kama ahsana Allahu ilayka wala tabghi alfasada fee al-ardi inna Allaha la yuhibbu almufsideena

28.78.قَالَ إِنَّمَا أُوتِيتُهُ عَلَى عِلْمٍ عِندِي أَوَلَمْ يَعْلَمْ أَنَّ اللَّهَ قَدْ أَهْلَكَ مِن قَبْلِهِ مِنَ القُرُونِ مَنْ هُوَ أَشَدُّ مِنْهُ قُوَّةً وَأَكْثَرُ جَمْعاً وَلَا يُسْأَلُ عَن ذُنُوبِهِمُ الْمُجْرِمُونَ

28.78. Mais Coré répondait : «Ce que j'ai, je le dois uniquement à la science que je possède.» Ne savait-il donc pas que Dieu avait déjà détruit avant lui tant de générations d'hommes plus redoutables que lui par leur force et leur nombre? Mais les criminels ne seront même pas interrogés sur leurs péchés.

28.78 . He said : I have been given it only on account of knowledge I possess . Knew he not that Allah had destroyed already of the generations before him men who were mightier than Him in strength and greater in respect of following? The guilty are not questioned of their sins .

28.78. Qala innama ooteetuhu AAala AAilmin AAindee awa lam yaAAlam anna Allaha qad ahlaka min qablihi mina alqurooni man huwa ashaddu minhu quwwatan waaktharu jamAAan wala yus-alu AAan thunoobihimu almujrimoona

28.79.فَخَرَجَ عَلَى قَوْمِهِ فِي زِينَتِهِ قَالَ الَّذِينَ يُرِيدُونَ الْحَيَاةَ الدُّنيَا يَا لَيْتَ لَنَا مِثْلَ مَا أُوتِيَ قَارُونُ إِنَّهُ لَذُو حَظٍّ عَظِيمٍ

28.79. Coré se présenta un jour devant son peuple avec tout son faste, ce qui poussa ceux qui voulaient jouir de la vie présente à dire : «Si seulement nous possédions des richesses semblables à celles de Coré ! Il a vraiment une chance extraordinaire !»

28.79 . Then went he forth before his people in his pomp . Those who were desirous of the life of the world said : Ah , would that unto us had been given the like of what hath been given unto Korah! Lo! he is lord of rare good fortune .

28.79. Fakharaja AAala qawmihi fee zeenatihi qala allatheena yureedoona alhayata alddunya ya layta lana mithla ma ootiya qaroonu innahu lathoo haththin AAatheemin

28.80.وَقَالَ الَّذِينَ أُوتُوا الْعِلْمَ وَيْلَكُمْ ثَوَابُ اللَّهِ خَيْرٌ لِّمَنْ آمَنَ وَعَمِلَ صَالِحاً وَلَا يُلَقَّاهَا إِلَّا الصَّابِرُونَ

28.80. – «Malheureux que vous êtes, leur répliquèrent ceux qui avaient reçu la science. La récompense de Dieu est bien meilleure pour celui qui croit et pratique les bonnes œuvres.» Mais une telle récompense n'échoit qu'à ceux qui sont constants dans l'épreuve.

28.80 . But those who had been given knowledge said : Woe unto you! The reward of Allah for him who believeth and doeth right is better , and only the steadfast will obtain it .

28.80. Waqala allatheena ootoo alAAilma waylakum thawabu Allahi khayrun liman amana waAAamila salihan wala yulaqqaha illa alssabiroona
