Sonasid, a leading steel industry player in Morocco, and the Royal Moroccan Football Federation (FRMF) announced on Tuesday in Salé the signing of a multi-year strategic partnership, officially making Sonasid a partner of the Moroccan national football teams.
The agreement was signed during a ceremony held at the Mohammed VI Football Complex in Maâmora. Sonasid’s CEO, Ismail Akalay, expressed pride in supporting all national teams and contributing to the growth of Moroccan football. «This partnership is also a commitment to our youth and Morocco’s international influence», he said.
At the ceremony, FRMF Secretary General Tarik Najem emphasized the significance of the collaboration, describing it as a key step in the federation’s strategy to build institutional partnerships and sponsorships. The goal is to create a supportive environment for football development in Morocco.
Najem further noted that teaming up with such a major industrial group will help advance several projects aimed at boosting the national football scene and increasing its visibility both locally and internationally.
