El Othmani reassures the justice and development party’s MPs

Saadeddine El Othmani held Friday morning a meeting with PJD members of the Parliament at the party’s headquarters. During this assembly, the Prime Minister tried to reassure members of his party by letting them know that he would carry on with the reforms initiated by his predecessor Abdelilah Benkirane. According to the party's official website, El Othmani's cabinet is determined to pursue the reform of the State Compensation fund.

Moreover, El Othmani defended the way he managed the negotiations that resulted in the governmental coalition, he also mentioned that the process was met with some political backlash and was also subject to political blunders : «we might have made political mistakes but they were not on purpose», the PJD leader declared.

Secretary General of the PJD Abdelilah Benkirane helped El Othmani by asking members of the Islamist party to support his legitimacy.

El Othmani, further agreed to continue with this process. In this regard, talks will be held tomorrow in Rabat with youths from the political party.
