A 30-year-old Moroccan national told the Italian authorities that he murdered a 52-year-old Italian woman in Peraso, a town on Italy’s Adriatic coast, reported Italian news agency ANSA on Monday. The man allegedly beat the victim, Sabrina Malipiero, before stabbing her with a knife in the throat. The murder took place in her home, said the same source, quoting the Italian police. The Moroccan man was convicted for aggravated murder.
